OMG at first i thought it was a landslide thats how thick the hailstone was its well over a foot thick...OMG
The road where the lorry went through should of been closed..

Nearby shop owner Rob Lloyd added: "The camber of the road should have been titled in the opposite direction and a pump installed at the bridge.

"That would have sent all of the water down the left-hand side of the bridge and none of the shops would have been flooded at all."

I used to be involved with a flood defence scheme at Cawood in North Yorkshire.

The pumps used to raise the dykes over the flood defence wall were often taken out by plastic fertiliser sacks. These had been carelessly discarded and had found there way into the dykes.

You can spend millions on flood defences and the simplest thing can bring the scheme down.
