Well, not really, but the skiing's finished and the motorcycling hasn't started.Don't like footie, and the current rugby is c**p.Looks like I'm going to have to use my brain and/or body and read a book or do the garden!
Well, if you want to occupy your time with a little gatstronomy, take a look at click here.Seems to be a relatively simple recipe, with hours of 'fun', afterwards
I regularly eat Vindaloo and occasionally a Phal but I think I will draw the line at this one. I don't mind a little suffering in the morning but I'm not a masochist.
It will have to be the garden for me - no electrickery for 3 - 4 hours on Saturday :-(Cant even go to the pub - no electrickery there either.
That's the best page headline I've read in a long while, except this one click here
Yep, El Reg specialises in excellent headlines
"Cant even go to the pub - no electrickery there either"But if you drink real hand-pumped ale, you won't need electricity to serve your beer and you certainly don't need lights to drink by (take a torch).
"But if you drink real hand-pumped ale, you won't need electricity to serve your beer..."No, but you need elecktrickery to stop it going 'off'.
Good link, it has got me hooked!
"No, but you need elecktrickery to stop it going 'off'"No you don't.I'm talking about proper hand-pumped (or served straight from a barrel behind the bar) real ale.Once real ale's in the pub, electricity doesn't come into the equation at all.
Leccy is only needed for the coolers en route from barrel to pump. Purists don't need that. Found a pub in Bath last year that has a barrel of Bass behind the bar and decanted straight into a jug. Yum!
