No thanks!

My own "rule of thumb" calculator used to be

"Am I lying down?

Do I have to hold on?

If so I've had enough"!

I'm beyond redemption.

Now I have reach my three score years and a bit I only drink a couple of pints a night three nights a week but when I were but a lad 6 or so pints a night was the norm - every night bar Sundays, and more on a 'good' night.

"every night bar Sundays"
Too busy with prayers and contemplation...?

  QuizMan 10:34 24 Jan 2011

Bar Sundays? Never heard of it. What's the beer like?

  Quickbeam 10:36 24 Jan 2011

Sounds more like a cocktail bar to me, they won't sell beer.

Interesting to see how much a night out would cost if expanded for the year.

I put roughly my housemates nightly drinking into it and it far exceeds his student loan. I'm going to have to ask him how he manages.

Last night I had 2 glasses of wine - according to the calculator this cost me £6.70, which is odd as I only remember paying £3.38 for the whole bottle, an these two glasses constitute less than half the bottle, so who took the other fiver off me?

  Quickbeam 15:03 24 Jan 2011

The prices are based on the exorbitant Bar Sundays pricelist...
