Apparently this was "due to the fact he has overtly used his personal invitation for party political purpose through the media"...." TC.

Would have been nice to see how he got on with the Duke of Edinburgh, perhaps Nick Griffin may have thought him a bit extreme...

I note the ban has definitely ruffled quite a few feathers over on the BNP website - click here Not that I expected otherwise, to be sure. TC.

Being an MEP was the deciding factor of him attending the garden party, not the fact he was a member of the BNP ( a legal political party).

Perhaps he should take the matter up with the European Court of Human Rights?.

Like or loath his policies, he was democratically elected and should be afforded all the privileges that go with the post. If the media choose the hype it all up then of course Nick Griffin is going to lap the attention up, what MP wouldn't?

Both the extreme left and the extreme right have never let the small matter of a democratic decision prevent them from trying to get their way!

'Both the extreme left and the extreme right have never let the small matter of a democratic decision prevent them from trying to get their way!'...it was a democratic decision that put Griffin into power.

Mr Griffin said his party could have earned a "great deal of publicity" by attending but did not want to embarrass the monarch.

"it was a democratic decision that put Griffin into power."

And the extreme left who wishes to ignore it and remove him!

The "increased security threat" did not come from any moderate, middle of the road, section of society.
