Looks like the porn industry have picked DD-DVD.They done the same when it was a battle for VHS and Betamax video .They picked VHS.

Yes, not that it is of any interest to me, Blu-Ray should win out, it has too many big named backers.


But then, I bought Betamax so what do I know!

No i dont think Blu -Ray will win.
Its too expensive and Sony brand name is not looking good at the moment

has also caused a bit of problem for Sony - it's HDDVD, and already has a huge head start on the PS3. If the PS3 doesn't completely outsell the Xbox, then Blue-Ray may well be singing it's last.

It will be interesting. Sony was very much alone with Betamax (relatively speaking). I am not a big TV watcher but I do applaud the HD technology and as a punter the rival formats are a real annoyance.

The smart money is on standard format DVD hanging on for 3-5 years, a long time for techno things. ( Have a look at upscaled DVD and you will see what I mean.)
