The Best Country in Europe?

Have a read about your country some claim to be the best place in Europe to live, the way the Mail writer is the messenger and not the author of the report.

I remember when it was a better place to live.

I would like to see the complete list. Sure some things are not that good but UK is not that bad in certain areas. My biggest gripe is Council tax and what you get for your £.

France, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Ireland and Britain.

Less holidays is right, this just started and is the law, if i take bank holidays off, the hours come off my annual leave entitlement. I never work bank holidays and will lose a weeks leave....nice.

Another pointless meaningless list.

Last week the UN declared that Norway was the best place to live. This list does even place it in the top ten!

"best" means different things to different people and in different circumstances.

Nowhere is perfect - what's "best" in my book is to enjoy things wherever you choose - and if you don't like things - move.
