with Ryanair again in the news

Family are going to Spain next Month and taking new born baby with them - no seat alloted sit on knee type - but with charges for buggy in two parts tax and insurance each way etc etc the bay is costing more than the two adult fares put together.

My last cheap flight with them ended up at £80 over the stated fare and that was without luggage, their insurance, and food.

They have the choice to not use Ryanair and the charges are quite clear. News articles stating the bleedin' obvious are getting tiresome now.

swings and roundabouts - other airlines for the same trip are more expensive for adult fares. But a lot of travel is get there when you have an alloted time - not when the airline has an alloted time - you can't always choose.
But this is a case where you do have to read all the small print, and you still get stung!

There's a Panorama programme about Ryanair tonight on BBC1 at 8-30pm.

Quite often it's about the same cost in the end to use BA or other scheduled airline than the cheapos - you don't have the same problems with booking in or carrying a reasonable amount of luggage either.
