It's amazing how much of a kitchen floor half a kilo of lentils will cover!

  oresome 13:41 23 Mar 2008

It's amazing how long afterwards you'll still be finding them.

I hope it wasn't the red ones on a quarry tile floor.

Just attack them with the hoover with the wifes tights inside the bag and you will get them back.

Dont forget to seperate the wife from the tights first.

You don’t say what happened but many years ago, staying with a friend at his flat in Malvern, early morning trip to the kitchen I was trying to reach for something on a high shelf. A large box of lentils toppled forward, bounced off my head and split open, bounced off the corner of a work surface and span around doing a sort of orange spray effect. Not only was it the floor that was covered but also the kitchen surfaces and lower shelves!

I did the best I could at clearing up then did an early morning exit leaving a sorry note. We lost contact after that so I don’t know if he is still finding lentils in every nook and cranny.

I dropped a 4ltr plastic bottle of milk in the Petrol station shop while waiting in the queue to pay.
It split and made an awful mess.
