Is this guy for real?

Col Gaddafi said that his people would die to protect him.

He said those people had seized weapons and that his supporters were under orders not to shoot back.

He's completely hat-stand...

Hillary Clinton has said US forces could be used for delivering humanitarian assistance.

If they provide a no fly zone it may save lives.

from listening to tony blair. Sooner or later it all ends in tears.

He's joking. Can we leave Blair out of this one. It has nothing to do with Blair or even Brown for that matter.

  Dragon_Heart 21:35 28 Feb 2011

... well all the one's left alive !

The old Col must be getting on in years now, is his replacement any better ?

where dictators are concerned, and Gaddafi is exhibiting all the symptoms of a full-blown case of it. Tyrants want to believe that they are loved, so they convince themselves of it.

In the end this one will die - either by his own hand, or by the hand of a supporter turned assassin. He may elect to make a run for the desert, but frankly it matters little, for one way or the other his rule is over. It is to be hoped that it ends with as little bloodshed as possible, but violence begets violence, and this man is certainly no stranger to it.

Well lets see all the reports say Blair phoned him up and told him to get out. After that he started arming all his supporters and ranting and raving. Who should we blame the tooth fairy

The sad thing is we look like becoming involved in another war in the worlds cauldron of hate.

That's just what we don't need in a recession, walking blind and aloof into another war that'll last 20 years immediately after announcing drastic defence cuts.

Now where have I heard that before?

It's one of the known that we know - to paraphrase a well known American.
Qaddafi has a stock of mustard gas that is slowly being disposed off, an inspection team was due to visit the site this month for a verification visit. It is thought however that he does not have any means of actually using the stuff, bombs or shells etc. These have already been disposed off.
