Hi, wonder if anyone can help put me at ease?

Was browsing the web when something called a Zte Diagnostics interface (cmo6) suddenly, and without warning, installed itself on my laptop - running windows 7 and have up-to-date norton's installed and working. Is this something I should be worried about, and what is it, and should i get rid of it? It turned off my dongle, which, I now notice, has Zte Corporation on the back of its box (using T Mobile HSUPA usb modem model mf637.

Many thanks :-)

James

It appears to be a device driver for "Network & Modems" so therefore could be something to do with your "dongle". See this - click here

I don't think it is a "nasty" or anything to get concerned about.

Are you sure it is "cmo06" ? Can't see it in the list above but there is a "com16"

Thanks :-) Yes, it was cmo6. Funnily enough, it is now nowhere to found on my hard drive; after installing, it appeared on the hardware section of my control panel, but has now mysteriously disappeared ...
