Zonealarm/Avast message

I have just moved from sygate to zonealarm and on installing avast poped up with a message about some part of the web shield not bieng compatable with zonealarm,and asked if i wonted to turn it off,i would like recomendations what to do?

Also how do i eneble ICS? i have a Lan setup with my son's pc and he can acsess my folders and me his but he cant get online from his pc.

If you are using ZoneAlarm with Privacy Control turned on. The current version of WebShield's transparent proxy is incompatible with ZA's Privacy Control features.

This is why I changed from ZA to sygate because I could not set the free version of ZA to network with my old PC.

I have got the file sharing sorted,and all the icons appear in the task manager to say both pc's are connected, but the client pc cant connect to the net,even though the connection is working from my pc.I know its a simple thing but cant put my finger on it.

I wouldnt have changed from sygate but there is no longer updates and my version is a few months old.
