ZoneAlarm and True Vector

As a point of curiosity, what is the actual workings of True Vector in ZoneAlarm (free version). Over the last couple of days, on start-up, there as been a warning the True Vector required activating. Simple job, click the box and the problems solved, but just wondering why this is happening!.

you may have a corrupted file - this normally involves removing the prog and installing it from new.

vsmon.exe (True Vector Internet Monitor) - Details

vsmon.exe is a processs associated with the ZoneAlarm personal firewall. Said to be used for monitoring internet traffic and generatating alerts based upon the default security rules or rules that are configured by the user.
If you have any other firewall progs on your PC uninstall them, if windows firewall is running turn it off, make sure the TVM in Za is enabled so it will run when starting..........

I have done most of the sorting out procedures, hence my curiosity. ZoneAlarm is the only active firewall on the computer.

Will tick this as resolved.
