Yet another free program to ignore.

I was having a look round the Virus Bulletin website. I followed a link to a SO CALLED free download by the name of Spyware Doctor. I downloaded the program and ran a full system scan. It found three items of Spyware. When I tried to delete them I was told that I would need a paid for licenced version. This was the first hint that the program was NOT free. Needless to say I uninstalled it and ran a registry cleaner. YET ANOTHER fiddle to avoid.

Thanks for the warning andsome. One thing I've learned over the last couple of years is that the phrases "Free Download" and "Download for Free" do not have the same meaning as "Free".

When I see either phrase I steer clear.

This 'Free' statement, seem to be the normal nowadays with about everything. But as they say, nothing is free in this life, you pay for it in the end.
