Yahoo Tool Bar uninstall

Yahoo Tool Bar came in uninvited when I was downloading Flash Player. It does not uninstall from the Add/Remove or from the ToolBar irself. I dont need it. How does one get rid of it please?

Crap Cleaner (CC) tries to install this toolbar (it's optional but defaults to install). Since there are so many CC new versions being released, it's so easy to forget to 'remove the tick'.

Will try safe mode.
When I try from the toolbar itself I get the 'Page cannot be displayed', window. Clicking refresh makes no difference. Maybe I should try and reinstall it on top of this one ???

Yahoo toolbar is gone from IE but it still shows in the Add/Remove list.

That would involve deleting entries in your registry.

"Yahoo Tool Bar came in uninvited...". Most, if not all downloads, that come with the Yahoo toolbar provide an option box. All that is required, is to untick the box before downloading. Very easy to miss this facility before downloading, I have missed it a few times ;o)
