hi all

I am running XP home with macafee antivirus with a firewall as well. I have ran stinger on my pc but every day for the past few months I am getting an email saying that [email protected] was found in an email I have sent.

My problem is that I have never sent these emails and they are clogging up my inbox. Also I ma getting a lot of emails saying that someone is sending me lots of pif files as well.

I dont open these and most of them are blocked now but they keep going into my deleated section of outlook express.

can anyone tell me why I am gettting these as my system seems clean according to all the checks I have done of it.

it is a classic example of the virus that has attacked someones e-mail account and immediately sent itself onto every address it finds within. Hence we are all getting mails saying we have sent or been intercepted.

Isnt life grand with virus's everywhere?
