XP won't set up home network

I've set up a d-link wireless router G604T and it connects ok to broadband. However, when I tried to set up my home network using the Network Wizard (on XP Home) I get a message saying it was unable to set up the network and I may not have the necessary permissions. Checking the User Groups, I should be set up as administrator and able to do this. My second computer - an old P233 using Win 98 - can also browse the internet and see the other computer, but can't see its network.

My main computer is a Mesh AMD Duron 750 with 394 Mb Ram. Any suggestions?
