Hi,

I have just installed XP on a comp and I want to set up an internet connection. I have a router and I am running a wired connection.

For vista this works fine and I dont need to set anything up - it all happens automatically.

However, for the XP I just installed I dont know what to do. I have the wire from the router inserted - how do I config. it?

Thanks

Thanks but that didnt work.

I have just completed a dual boot you see. (Currently I am on a seperate machine).

On that machine I had vista first off and the internet was fine working off the router via a wired connection.

Now I have dual booted with XP and when I am using XP I am unable to get on to the internet.

I dont know why. Please help.

Thanks for your replies in advance

Its OK now.
I cracked it...
Soln:

Just downloaded the LAN driver from Asus. The hardest part was actually navigating the Asus website.

To be sure the driver was correct I went on the device manager on the vista partition and then network adapters to locate the exact description.

Thanks for help and looking
