How can I get Word and Outlook Express to startup when I bootup my system?

Using XP home....

Thanks anyone...

Go to start all programs and drag them from their existing folder to folder called start up.

...you make it sound easy, so where do I go to find START ALL PROGRAMS and START FOLDER.
I'm using the classic start menu.

start - programs - startup

and thats not all

open start - run type in regedit

goto each of these places

HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
HKCU = HKEY_CURRENT_USER

HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run
and /runonce

HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run
and /runonce

delete from there any applications you dont want to start up, but be careful about what you delete. you may want to backup the registry first to a .reg file - file menu - export

...I can install kitchens and bathrooms....but I really don't want to install anything into RegEdit.....thanks anyway....I will carry on the old way.

follow Zeppelyn's advice or create shortcuts and drag them to quick launch on the task bar
