I have just downloaded service pack2 for xp from download.com and when I click on the service
pack 2 ikon on my desktop I just get the message "the expected version of the product was not found on your system" and looks as if it hasn't installed, I have downlaoded it from there
as I couldn't find an obvious link for service pack2 on the microsoft website, which is where
you would expect it to be. Please help.

You should be able to get SP2 if you go to Windows Update.
