XP Professional using Vista

Hi Guys,

Can Office XP Professional be used on a laptop running Vista?

My wife’s laptop is running Vista, the problem is she just can’t get on with the latest version of word, (it also doesn’t help that she also works from home occasionally and the version of word they use is XP Professional and she’s constantly having save the documents as a Word 97 format, but this is only a minor issue)
She's even been on a one day course but just can't get on with it at all

Thanks in advance

Sorry wrong button. If you can get office 2003 it is not much different and during office updates you will get office compatability patch which will allow you to recieve documents from 2007 as well.

If that lappy came pre installed with vista it may not support xp, drivers are required to make it work. The other alternative is to try openoffive >> click here

Hope that sorts it for you.

I hope there isn't a confusion between OS XP Professional and Office XP Professional version. Bit surprised that the work's suite is Office XP. Could be worth a check to see if it is Office 2003 or 2007 on XP Pro.
T I M B O - drivers refer to the OS.
