XP Pro - Network security

I am configuring the security in a small LAN that consists of a mixed bag of PC's, some running W2K Pro and others XP Pro. Users may access any PC from any other PC on the network provided they have a logon. Configuring this level of security on the W2K PC's is easy. However, I cannot find any way to do this on the XP Pro PC's. The Help file does not cover this item and neither of the XP books that I have mention it. Am I missing something obvious here?

I assume that you are connected to a server. Can you not set group policy in your active directory?

Hi May. Not connected to a server. This is only a small LAN and all PC's connect to a Router.
