After trying to install linux on my pc (click here) I recvieve an error saying Grub hard disc error everytime i try and boot up. After trying lots of things I downloaded the six floppy disc setup thing from Microsoft and tried to install Xp from my disc. Firstly I tried to run the rescue thing (when it had detected a previous installation) but it gave my this error. "The following value in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing: Value 0 on the line in section (SourceDisksFile) with key "SP2.cab." Setup cannot continue. Then I tried to do a fresh install and it gave me the same error. I sucessfully installed Xp from this disc once on to this PC and it worked fine then.

Does anyone know what this means and how I can deal with it?

Personally I would boot from a Win 98 boot disk and use fdisk to delete all partitions, then boot from the XP cd.
