XP Pro 64Bit BSOD, Dump files and Decoding them

  ajw2708 21:28 29 Jul 2009

I have a PC that I re-built in March- prior to which it repeatedly crashed with a frequency that made it unusable.

Since the re-build, the PC has crashed (with BSOD) intermittently; and other times the software of Firefox, MS Money and Outlook have shutdown, and won't work again until the PC is re-booted. Also following some start ups it has shown the message Windows has recovered from a Serious Error" and this is after watched shutdowns without a problem.

Since March I now have 25 Minidump files. I have tried to work out the message that they have, but I do not understand what I need to do. Is there somebody who can decode these files and tell me if it the hardware or software that is faulty.
