xp networking

I have set up a home network with ntl modem -
4 port router 2 computers no 1 being the first pc no x being second pc
when I look in my network places on x I can see the two pcs
when I look in my network places on 1 I can only see no 1. no x is missing how can I get thi icon
back.
when I click on entire network on both pcs all network icons are shown.
the network between both pcs are working the only thing is the missing icon for x on the no 1 pc thanks to all who have helped in the past

if you click on the left where it says "Add Network Place", navigate through the drives to your missing computer, then click the drive/folder you want to network. click ok and after a few seconds it should appear in My Network Places. Repeat for any other drives/folders you want to network.

hope this is what you meant.

oops, sorry at the start of my last reply i should have put,

click start/My Network Places to get to the bit where you can select the Add Network Places.
