i have just put windows xp home edition on my machine 1.2ghz 393meg ram.
Everytime i go to microsoft web site to download updates after 10-15 mins i get a pop up saying "system will be shutdown in a minute on NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM because of a REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL SERVICE TERMINATED UNEXPECTLY.

Can anybody help as i am pulling my hair out.
I am only using the windows firewall which comes with xp and they are both switched on.
