XP alarm - No disk

I have a problem, every time I start Zone Alarm
I get a warning :-

Zonealarm.exe – No Disk
There is no disk in the drive please insert a disk into drive E

There is then an option to cancel, try again or continue.

Several presses of the continue button does clear the warning and the program opens.
This problem is not restricted to Zone alarm, this warning pops up for lots of other programs including Internet Explorer, games etc. most of which do not need a disk in the drive anyway.

My computer runs:-

Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1
(build 2600)
2.10 gigahertz AMD Athlon XP
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
I regularly update my virus checker.

Thanks for your advice huggy but still no joy.

did msconfig stop the pop up to register said software above? what is it if you dont mind me asking please?

also what is e drive just for reference?

its not a floppy is it by any chance is it?

The msconfig did not stop the pop up Huggy.
drive A is my floppy.
I seem to have found a partial fix to my problem.
I have changed the drive letters of my DVD and
DVD RW from D: and E: to R: and S:
Zone alarm and internet explorer are no longer effected with alarms
Though some games still throw up an error box which is not that important as
They are not used much.
I was warned some programs might not like this action but I have not found any problems so far!
