XL chart sizes

Hello.

I have a (self-created) accounts spreadsheet in Microsoft XL 2002. I set up various pie and bar charts (in separate workheets) to illustrate various items. The charts were all sized to fill each worksheet page.

All was fine, until one day I found all the charts had shrunk to become so tiny they are illegible! Despite much tinkering, reading of manuals and Google searches, I cannot work out how to re-size (i.e. enlarge) the charts!

Could you please help?

Many thanks!

It is possible that the workbook is corrupted in which case the following might not work but worth a go.

Press ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor, Insert > Module. Copy and paste in

Sub ResizeCharts()
Dim cht As ChartObject, ws As Worksheet
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
For Each ws In ThisWorkbook.Worksheets
For Each cht In ws.ChartObjects
With cht
.Height = 200
.Width = 200
End With
Next cht
Next ws
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub

then close the VBE using the X. Tools > Macro > Macros, highlight ResizeCharts and click the Run button. If successful this will resize every embedded chart to 200 x 200 pixels.

Hi VoG.

Thanks for the quick response, but that didn't work.
