I have just reformatted my mesh pc which is 11 months old.I downloaded new drivers from the creative website but evertime I start installing it comes up with the error message
"you have previously installed drivers without rebooting please reboot and try again" so I reboot but the same thing happens.I have an x-fi extreme card and windows xp.I would be grateful for any help.Afterthought, mesh do,nt supply driver disks you have to copy them from a folder which I did but I cannot find any drivers for the soundcard
Regards steve

I think that it must already been installed if it says it needs a reboot

I think there is a clean tool on creative site, it should clear out the registry entries that may be causing the problem. You can then install the latest drivers from Creative.
