On my sis' laptop, and my granddads new PC, holding shift and pressing 2 will give you this symbol: @

Holding shift and hitting ' will give me this symbol: "

In other words, they are the wrong way around!

Is there a reason for this, and a way to fix it?

Ta :)

Go to control panel--date,time,languages and regional options--regional and language options--regional options tab--change to English (United Kingdom)and click apply. Also under the advanced tab click on English (United Kingdom) in the drop-down menu. Click apply then OK.
