I have a wireless broadband connection with Wanadoo. My livebox and adaptor are both "inventel". My adaptor is faulty so I purchased a new one "Netgear". I have used a wizard to set this up and it is asking me for my WPA-PSK number. I dont know what this is. Can you advise where I can locate it, I assume I will then be able to use new adaptor.

I know what a "WPA-PSK" number is. I just dont know how to establish what the number is currently so I can get my new adaptor to match to my livebox.

Most things come with a default setting and the Netgear manual should help you. Can you give the model number of your router? You may want to repost this thread in the Networking Forum where you may get help.

Look on the base of the live box

It will show

this is what you put in as the "WPA-PSK" number

Product name:Livebox-XXXX

is what you put in as per the SSID

with the box in pairing mode (button 1 on the side) you should ten beable to connect and should show connection and signal strentgh.

Wether you cn then get a web page is another matter :0)
