Is it a DELL?

An update for the wireless driver will probably sort the problem.

If not done so already , upgrade to SP2 , that will introduce WPA , also get the latest drivers for your wireless adapter, and Dell can use Broadcom or Intel cards , so have a look in Device Manager to see which it is , and if possible just find a driver , not the entire wireless suite , then updat and let Windows manage it for you , it will work much better . Forgot to ask , is this a wireless b or g card ...
