I have heard that the Win XP Defrag is 'slow, useless, waste of space' and some unprintable accounts of it.

What are your thoughts? Better options ?

Start pc in safe mode ,then defrag works ok for me.

No that i can see. I have NIS 2004 which incorporates AV. I did have Systemworks 2003 and i think it was on that but does not appear on this.

have downloaded diskeeper lite and shall have a go at that.
