Wot is Com-orient2 file?

I have a file which windows xp pro cant open. Tried & installed Omniformat V.4.2 from freeware995 to convert it but I just cant get the hang of how to use it. Any help appreciated please!

did this file just appear?

does it have an extension like .jpg .txt etc?

No. Actually I copied a photo 'Save as' and usually I can open it, but this time windows says 'File type com-orient2' unable to open & suggests I indicate or find the software to open it.

It could be that this is some kind of protection from copying the picture, but I never ever heard of such a file.

copied photo from where exactly?

does it have an extension?

try renaming it with a .jpg or .bmp extension maybe
