Word XP and tracking changes

Three of us are correcting the one MS Office/Word XP document. We are using the "track changes" facility to do so. However, after we have made all the changes and agreed the final form, can we get rid of the red markings and save the revised document without them?
If so, how?

I think you have to accept the changes, click here

Tools>track Changes which should put the toolbar at the top of the document. Use the drop down box next to the Accept Change Icon (The One with the green tick) and select Accept All Changes

Thanks for the rapid help
