A word of warning before composing threads

The Clear button is far too close to the Post Response button.

Don't compose in the window, but do it off line, then copy and paste.
Then, if you hit the wrong button after ten minutes pouring over each word and getting it just right, like I've just done, you will then have a copy to re-paste.
It's bad enough having the problem, without having it all disappear down the plughole.

Good idea.Still the "clear" is quite distinct from the "post response" tab.

Bit more caution maybe? Happy new year.

Iv had that problem it maybe an idea to move the clear button a few inches to the right im sure it wont take long to do FE and will stop me when posting from wiping out a 1000 word post in one shot lol.

Just an idea like.

why not slow down and make sure what your pointing at before left clicking

I compose in the message window and then copy into Word.
Everything is spell checked in large font, (easier to check when my eyes become weary). I then CLEAR the old message and paste.

I just type and post.

Its all rubbish but I always hit the button.

The simplest way, if you are careless with the cursor, is to highlight the text, use Ctrl C and then, if anything goes wrong, do a Ctrl V...

  Stuartli 23:39 30 Dec 2005

The Post Response button is more that twice the size of the Clear alternative...:-)
