Find a file on your PC called NORMAL.DOT (note spelling)

Rename it to OLDNORMAL.DOT

Open Word.

JESTER2K, unaible to locate NORMAl.DOT amongst the
other normal files,sorry.

Use Search (Start Menu, Search) to find it (there maybe more than one if so rename them all OLD1NORMAL.DOT, OLD2NORMAL.DOT, OLD3NORMAL.DOT,)

You must have a NORMAL.DOT because if it doesn't exist Word makes a new one everytime you open it.
