I am trying to compose a covering letter to email with my CV as I am trying to find a new job.But the gap between the lines on word are two big.How do I reduce the space between the lines.I ma sure I had this problem before but have forgotten.

On the Home tab, in the Styles group, right-click Normal, and then click Modify.

Under Formatting, click Single Space.

Got as far as modify but when I clicked on it I am unable to find formatting could you advise further
