WMP to mp3 player snags

  TonyTT 17:12 10 Jan 2007

I have ripped my CD's using WMP and have tried to put the tunes onto my mp3 player but it is not being accepted. I am sure that this is legal (they are my CD's)...isn't it???

They were ripped into WMA format, would it make any difference if I used WMP and ripped them in mp3 format? And if so, is it possible to convert from the files I have already ripped from WMA to mp3?

Any help much appreciated.

surfmonkey - I normally rip my mp3 files at 192kps. I also have some 128kps wma files. Is it possible to convert these wma files to mp3 without further compression to the sound; if so at what bitrate for the conversion?
