hi when i put my wmp on after an amount of time it turns itself off anyone know why cheers??

I don't know what you mean exactly, but let's try:

Are you saying that when you start WMP (Windows Media Player?), it shuts down on its own after a while?

What OS & version of WMP are you using? And what file(s) are you playing when it turns itself off? G

yes it just shuts down on its own when im playing music wmp 11 iv got its all up to date

Does wmp automatically shut down after the same fixed time or does the time vary?

If your OS is XP, with WMP shutdown (not running), navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player, double-click on setup_wm & follow the wizard to reinstall WMP. Finally reboot your PC even if it doesn't ask you to.

It's not a guaranteed fix, but seems to do the trick with some WMP-related problems. G
