WLAN not working

Hi can any one help?

I have a rangemax netgear router which has served me well for 2 years. I have 2 computers wired to the router and I have 5 computers which are connected via wireless LAN. I used to have 3 computers connected via WLAN with no problems. Now I have connected another 2. All was fine until last week when 3 of the computers wont connect but the other 2 will. The 2 that will connect are Vista and the other 3 that wont connect are XP.

I have tried changing my settings and dropping all my security but it still wont work.

At first I thought it was my router but I cant understand why the vista computers will connect but not the XP computers.

Then first check if its a Microsoft update that is causing the problem;

Try a system restore first and reboot the computer,if this proves successful-check your MS update history to see if this coincides with your problems.

Thanks for that but no joy. This is an intamitent problem. I think it must be the router.

A firmware update solved the problem
