My laptop runs windows XP. The wireless zero configuration service is not loading when I boot up and when I start it in services.msc it stops working. Any ideas how to fix this. Thank you.

Have you installed a 3rd party program for the wireless card? If you have installed a new wireless card you may have been forced to use its equivalent to WZC rather than what you are used to. Just disable the software.
