wireless slowdown

i have just installed a Netgear DG834GT with a Netgear WG111T usb adaptor. when i start the system up i have good internet connection speeds. but as the day goes on my connection the the net starts to struggle.
if i go on the routers setup page i still have a connection of 5.8MB down stream. between router and adaptor the connection is 108mb but net connection is real slow more like dial up speeds. the only way to get net speed back is restore backup settings every two to three hours and i have no idea what is causing this

my settings are

It could be your noise margin dropping in the evening which would make your connection unstable.

In the stats you posted the downstream noise margin is 6.3db, see what it is when the speeds start to drop.

If you aren't around all the time this handy utility can monitor it for you click here
