can someone please advise me if this is possible. I would like to restrict the amount of bandwidth that my kids get from our wireless internet connection. The thing is I like to download stuff and it always seems that the kids turn on laptops and want to surf net while im on, so is it possible to restrict how much bandwidth they can have (and without them knowing i have done it- i know all the bleeding heats out there will get on this now but hey thats life)

What make router? Linksys

If you upgrade your firmware to the third party dd-wrt special edition (they sell it for 20 Euros at click here) it gives you the option to set a maximum bitrate per MAC address.
