Wireless Router Recommendation

  01chris 17:54 12 Nov 2005

I am hoping for a wireless router for christmas but does anyone have any recommendations for ones to buy and ones to avoid?

Needs to be:

As cheap as possible
Have a built in adsl modem
Have ethernet ports
Wireless 'G' standard
And have as great a range as possible. (There is quite a long distance between my PC and where I usually use my laptop so I MIGHT be willing to sacrafice some other things in order to get a good signal.)

PS. Can you also let me know of any good sites to order from.

They are all very much of a muchness - I have installed D-Link, Belkin, Linksys, Netgear and Ebuyer Value and never had a problem with any.

Are ebuyer good because I might get one from there? How do they sell for such low prices?

Found this router on ebuyer, has anyone had any experience with this router, is it any good? Is there any difference between an ADSL modem and an ADSL+2 modem?

I just went for a Linksys WAG354G in the end and so far it has been great
