Hi,
I have a wireless router set up on my PC.

I also have an xbox360.

An xbox360 wireless adapter is £60 and for the odd time i am going to use it , it seems a bit steep.

How do you set up using the Ethernet cable, is it just plug and play, ( one end in the xbox the other in the router) or is there a lot of configuring to do.

many thanks.

The router will do all the configuration for you.

Thanks.

I have connected the Ethernet cable to my wireless router and i have now xbox live on my xbox 360.

The Internet still works OK. The only thing is that on my wireless router where all the lights used to stay on, Now the wireless light and the Ethernet light continue to flash on and off.

Does this mean its normal or does it mean somethings wrong.

many thanks for your help.

THANKS
I have also done a speed test on my broadband connection with xbox live on and off.

When the xbox360 live is off i get 3.2 mg and when its on i get 2.2.

Is this normal to drop 1 gb.

Thanks for your patience.
