my niece has a dell 1545 laptop and a linksys wag160n
the laptop ask for a pin number which i have found
by changing the settings from manual to wpa protected and it works
but she has a ps3 and this wants the wpa key
and will not work after change
so how do i change the laptop back to asking for a wpa key

should prompt for a wireless access key when it tries to connect. Windows will detect the router, and will prompt for a key to be entered the first time the machine tries to connect - just enter the router's WPA key and Windows will make the connection. You will only have to do this once.

yes but it ask for a pin code the key does not work
i changed the router to this way
the router calls it wireless protected setup
and you enter a pin code in the laptop
if i use manuel setup it asks for the key
but somehow the laptop settings need to be changed

but getting the laptop off my niece to fix it
so i am trying to find out what to do and where to look
