Wireless Printing - BT Home Hub and VPN

I have a Advent PC connected by wire to BT Homehub (for speed) along with a Thinkpad laptop that I use for work stuff using a Cisco virtual private client (VPN). I print using a new HP J4860 Wireless printer which works okay either wired or (wireless from either computer)when I am NOT Connected to VPN client. When I am through the VPN the jobs stack up in the printer queue and then as soon as I log off the VPN - wham - I get all the queued print jobs coming out.

Can anyone help me smooth this out so I dont have to log off VPN each time, or have a wireless printer wired all the time?.

This is proberly to do with your companies security policy, so the VPN stops all TCP/IP traffic outside of the tunnel, to avoid opening a potiental hole in the VPN - which is bad from your companies point of view.

Have a word with your sys admin...there may be a work around. If he is like my boss there'll be NO chance.

Try this app, may work, may not??

May be worth a try if your sys admin is as scary as ours ;-)
