Wireless networking issues

I have a wireless network which currently has a desktop and 2 laptops connecting to it - all run Vista. All computers on the network are able to share files/folders/drives by setting up sharing in Vista.

I have now bought a netbook for travelling with work which runs XP. How do I get it to be able to access the other computers? I've tried start>run>\\computername_pc\ to no avail. Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have you changed XP's Workgroup name to the same as Vista's? Also make sure Vista's firewall allows access to XP and vice-versa.

Make sure all the devises are switched on and run the network wizard (not wireless network wizard) from control panel on the XP machine and during the wizard make sure you change it to workgroup which Vista defaults to because XP home defaults to MSHOME but if it is XP Pro it will already be workgroup.
