Wireless network set up guide

Can anyone point me in the direction of a GOOD idiot's guide to setting up wireless networking??

I have a XP Home desktop (Evesham Axis 2800), XP Professional Laptop (Sony Vaio S5XP), Belkin 125G ADSL modem/router.

Currently can access the web from both PCs no problem over wireless but want to set up PCs so that I can file and printer share wirelessly (primarily to access files on my desktop). I am assuming that I need to set up a home network to do this.

Sorry this is such a simple question - have never set up a network before!!

Thanks for all help given.

Many thanks for that - have only just managed to set up my router with WPA enabled (only taken me 8 months of fiddling and constant resetting) so I expect it's going to take me a few false starts!!

Many thanks for your assistance also. Will try to make sense of it all over coming days/weeks!! No doubt a few more posts will be on their way if I get stuck.
