Hi, I am having trouble with my wireless network. I run BT/Yahoo! broadband, and have 3 networked PCs. All PCs are working apart from my XP laptop, which won't connect to the internet. My other laptop and my desktop seem to be working fine.

Please help.

Hopefully this should work ok:

Firstly is the wireless card turned on ? if not try FN+F2 (i think)

If no joy goto Control panel in the host pc and select the wireless network setup wizard and follow the prompts...you will need a pen/flash drive but can also be done with a memory card, but obviously you would need a card reader.

This will carry all settings across to the laptop.

Just a thought, check your wep/wpa security key also.

Hi, does the XP laptop use a slot-in LAN card? I had one the other day which only needed the card to be removed and refitted properly for it to work ok.

Today, there doesn't seem to have been any problems, I started up the laptop and everything was working fine.

Thanks anyway, much appreciated.

I had actually ticked the Resolved thing, I've been having problems with my browser recently, and thats probably why it didn't come up.
